IT IS REALLY HAPPENING

How big is that car again???

It is happening...we are moving. It doesn't seem real. All along I have thought that when we would be leaving Honduras we would be going home. So this goodbye is different than we thought it would be. We will be extending our mission five more months...which will make our time in Guatemala nine months.

Hermana Rodas and Hermana Medal

We have taken care of all the business that comes with moving (internet turned off, banking changed, rent taken care of)....collected and packed boxes.....said many and more goodbyes....and are now left with the hope that everything we want to take with us will fit in our little car. It is amazing how much "stuff" we have accumulated in just a short year. But as I keep telling Elder Tomkinson....it is all essential "stuff"!!

We are hoping to get on the road this Wednesday, and arrive at our new apartment in Guatemala sometime Thursday afternoon. We will probably stay at Don Udo's again in Copan Wednesday night. We really enjoyed the hotel and the company. We just won't do the entire trip in one day....don't want to drive in the dark....and our security people (the Tilleys) just won't let us.

The had us over for lunch Saturday....it was delicious!

Listen for the shouts of laughter or frustration as we try to pack the car tomorrow!!.....I learned a long time ago that is Wayne's job.

Good luck! It's like you are off to college and trying to shove everything in a tiny car. ROAD TRIP!!! Drive safe!
