Just an update...we are doing well and actually spent some time at the dental school this morning. Wayne is so excited to be able to start the Welfare part of our mission. He was like a little kid going to school on the first day!! We will add more about that later.
The missionaries will be in lock down for a few more days. The funeral for the Honduran national is this Tuesday or Wednesday, so they will probably have to stay low until after that is over. Today was P-day anyway, so they just ran around town in their P-day clothes. It was so different seeing them that way. We went to the office this afternoon and then to the hospital again with an elder who had an appointment to have two ingrown toenails removed...he was brave when we dropped him off at the Office Elders apartment....but he is still numb. I told him it is going to HURT later and to make sure that he takes his medication. Hopefully he will listen.
Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts. We are doing well and the mission will make some changes and then go on. They are going to close all the areas where missionaries were actually threatened. More on the dental school later this week.
