I guess that I can now officially leave Central America. I have been able to have the shower experience with the hot water heated shower. This is a tool unique to Central America (I think)....and we would get them for the missionaries while we were serving in Honduras. (Mostly for the hermanas).
The principle is that there is an ELECTRIC plug-in near the shower head. You plug in this shower device and it supplies hot water. I have not yet figured out why more people have not been shocked while using this device.
While we were staying at our hotel in Quetzaltenango we had one of these showers. It was a great experience.
