The best vehicle to own in Central America is a small truck. You can use it to haul stuff...but the main thing that we have seen it used for is hauling people. This is a truck that we saw as we were leaving the Lake Atlitlan city of Solola. These people were going back home from market day. They probably could not get one more person into the bed of that truck. You cannot see it in the picture, but one of the ladies was actually holding eggs to take home with her. Wonder if they made it???
