WHAT A FAMILY!!

Last Saturday, June 21st, our children Trisha and Rusty, Amy and Kris) decided that it was time to come and help us jump-start our sorting and packing. I don't think Wayne and I had any idea of what was about to hit our house!! It was like a swarm of busy busy ants. Kris and Rusty helped Wayne clean our the garage and sort through all that camping/Scout stuff that had accumulated while he was busy serving as Bishop. They took a load to the dump (about 1100 pounds) and also set aside lots of stuff for a Garage Sale/DI run. I will never forget the image in my mind as Rusty and Kris took my office armoir down the stairs and around the corner to our "storage room".

Trisha and Amy spent the day sorting through my pantry and two freezers. (They did gain a little bit of food in the process). They then proceeded to go through my kitchen and sort through things to put away until we return from Honduras. They also helped Alissa pick a few things to go back with her to BYU for her first apartment. Kristin, Carlie, Kayla and Cade waited patiently to go swimming as we had promised them. They waited almost 7 hours while we cleaned, packed and labeled. They were so helpful and were so happy when the pool was finally opened.

Rusty's parents and our really close friends Rod and Tere Riggs came by and brought supplies for a lunch they are hosting for us today after we speak in church. Rod called a couple of weeks ago and GENEROUSLY offered to do a lunch for those who will be attending and have traveled to see us. We are so thankful for people like Rod and Tere who have been so supportive in our mission call. We are blessed with so many great associations and eternal friendships. Tere has even promised to be "two grandmas" for me for the next few months!!!
