O CHRISTMAS TREE

Charlie Brown would be proud!!

We had decided that we wouldn't decorate for Christmas this year...just one more thing to worry about what to do with when we leave Honduras....but after watching Christmas with the Kranks last weekend, Wayne decided that just wouldn't do. We are not Skipping Christmas!! We were at the store the other day, and he walks up with this little tree. He said, "We are not the Kranks. We need a Christmas tree." So we now have a tree.

Getting ready for the ride home

We thought we could maybe get into the spirit by putting it on top of our car for the ride home. We decided that it would probably blow off...so we just took a picture instead. The tree now has lights and bulbs and sits in our apartment. We are enjoying the spirit that it brings into our home. It cost us all of about $10.00...lights and bulbs and all!!

Hope you are enjoying your Christmas decorations as much as we are!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

hi, i found you through a blog of a friend on her friends list..karisa and tyler to be exact.. anyway I served in the Comayaguela mission 3 years ago. i think of it all the time and miss it so much. i love all your pictures soo much, it brings back so many good memories. I live in casa grande now, I actually was wanting to send a package to the mission home of some clothes and other stuff but wasnt' sure of the address i have

if i send a package to the office i would like it to go to those branches that need it most. i will probably include some christmas cards of some people i have lost addresses for in hopes that the missionaries can deliver them. i served in la esperanza, guaimaca, loarque, el carmen and zambrano.
